When do AP scores come out?

AP scores come out every July. College Board announces the exact release day in the spring, and you see your scores by signing in to the same College Board account you use for My AP. Most scores are there on release day, and you get an email as each one is added. If you still have no score by August 15, contact AP Services for Students.

AP Exams are given over two weeks in May, and the scores arrive about two months later. You do not need a score code or a separate app: once you sign in to your College Board account, your scores are on the page. College Board advises signing in once before July, so a forgotten password does not cost you time on release day.

Not every score shows up on the first day. Most are available in July, but some take longer, for example when an exam was taken late or a score needs an extra check. That is why College Board names August 15, not release day, as the point to contact AP Services for Students.

If you picked a college for your free score send, it receives the scores that were ready when your score report was made. Scores that arrive later for that exam year are sent to it automatically. To send scores to any other college, sign in and order an official score report.

How StudyPDF helps

Do it on your own course

Waiting for scores is a good moment to get ahead on next year's AP classes. Upload your textbook chapters, slides or class notes, and StudyPDF builds flashcards, quizzes and practice exams from them, each answer linked to the page it came from. Your per-concept mastery shows what you still miss, so the next quiz goes after it. The free plan covers about 4 materials a week.
