About StudyPDF
How we write our study pages
Our glossary, answers, practice tests, use cases and comparisons are free to read. This page says who writes them, how we use AI, what we check and how to tell us about a mistake.
Who we are
StudyPDF is built by HBW Softwares UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a small software company in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. The same team that builds the app writes and maintains these pages. Company details are in our imprint.
How a page is made
We draft pages with AI models from a brief our team writes: the question a student actually asks, what a good answer must cover and what it must not claim. We write for students, in short plain sentences, and we answer the question in the first paragraph.
Facts that can be wrong get checked against the source that owns them. Exam dates, score scales and exam formats are checked against the exam body (for example College Board, ACT or Microsoft Learn). Research findings are checked against the study or a review of it. When a page rests on such facts, it lists its sources at the end.
People on our team read pages on a sample basis, and every page we find a problem on gets fixed. Not every page has been read by a person before it went live, and we say so here rather than imply otherwise.
Practice tests and quizzes
Every question in our practice tests is written by us, with AI help, and checked against the topic it tests. We never copy questions from real exams. Certification readiness checks are written against the skills outline the certification body publishes, and the page names the outline date.
Comparisons and reviews
StudyPDF is our own product, and comparison pages say so. We describe other tools from their own websites and from using them, and we note the month we last checked prices and features. If another tool does something better, the page says that too.
Translations
We write in English first. Pages in other languages are translated from the English version with AI and then checked for wording and local terms. If a translation reads wrong, tell us.
Updates and corrections
We update a page when an exam body changes its dates or rules, or when we learn that something on it is wrong. Pages with dates show which period they cover.
