Yes, there is a free plan with daily caps. YouLearn's terms list up to 3 uploads, pastes or recordings a day, 5 AI text chats a day, 10 quiz answers a day, 2 practice exams a month, 5 AI voice chats a day and files up to 100 pages or 10 MB (checked 15 October 2026). YouLearn's own blog quotes a slightly different quiz number, so confirm today's figures on its pricing page.
StudyPDF Free is a weekly allowance of about 4 materials, such as flashcards, quizzes, exams or study guides, with up to 300 pages per file. You can also share a course by link with 3 people. YouLearn caps by the day, StudyPDF by the week, so the better fit depends on whether you study a little every day or in bursts.
Yes. StudyPDF is free to start with no card. Upload your slides, notes or a YouTube link and it builds flashcards, quizzes, graded practice exams, study guides and mind maps, with the page cited for every item. It does not pull in arbitrary web pages the way YouLearn does.
It is a solid pick for one file or one video at a time: notes, flashcards, quizzes and a tutor chat, plus web pages and recorded lectures. It works document by document. If you study a whole course and want answers cited to the page, graded exams and tracked mastery, StudyPDF is built for that.
YouLearn's pricing page lists Pro at $12 a month billed yearly, or $20 billed monthly (checked 15 October 2026). Pro removes the daily upload, chat, quiz and exam caps and allows files up to 2000 pages or 300 MB. Prices change, so check its site before you decide.
Yes, if you want a tool built around your whole course, with answers cited to the page, full graded exams, exports to Anki and PDF, and progress tracking. Both let you bring in YouTube videos; YouLearn also pulls in web pages, while StudyPDF goes deeper on your own course material.
It cites the page behind every answer and refuses to make things up, maps your whole course into one connected concept graph, writes full graded practice exams in your professor's style, exports flashcards to Anki and fold-over PDFs, builds mind maps and cheat sheets, and tracks per-concept mastery so it knows what to study next.
YouLearn can pull in web pages and articles from any URL. StudyPDF studies the course files you upload plus YouTube links.
It is free to start, and the free tier gives you about 4 materials a week. Pro and Ultra add a bigger weekly pool of credits for heavier exam-season use. You only upgrade when you outgrow the free plan.
Upload your course and ask Bo anything. No card required.
