When do SAT scores come out?
Weekend SAT scores usually come out 13 days after the test, on the second Friday after test day. Scores for the October 3, 2026 SAT release on October 16, and November and December follow the same gap. College Board says most weekend scores arrive 2 to 4 weeks after the test, so check its official release table for your date. School Day SAT scores take about two to three weeks.
You see your scores by signing in to your College Board account, and you get an email when they are ready. College Board staggers the release over the day: some scores appear as early as 6 a.m. and all are generally available by 8 p.m., US time. The total runs from 400 to 1600, made up of two section scores from 200 to 800.
School Day SAT runs on its own schedule. Your score date depends on when your school submits the answers: in the fall 2026 window, answers submitted by October 9 come back on October 22. U.S. students 13 and older who gave a mobile number on test day can also see School Day scores in the BigFuture School app.
Colleges get your scores separately, through score sends that go out on a rolling basis once your scores are ready. If an application deadline is close, leave room for that. If you think about a retake, look at the next test dates when you check your scores: in the school year there is a weekend SAT almost every month from August to December and again from March to June.
