Is Quizlet free for teachers?
Quizlet offers a free teacher account with the basics: you can create sets and classes and share them with students. The teacher-specific extras such as deeper progress tracking sit behind a paid teacher plan, usually sold as a yearly subscription after a trial. The exact price and what is included change, so check Quizlet's pricing page. If you want the whole class practicing on your own material for free, a course-scoped tool is a different model.
For many teachers the free Quizlet account is enough: make a vocabulary set, put students in a class, let them use Learn and Match. Where it gets tight is when you want to see how each student is doing across a unit, or you want material that comes from your own slides rather than a set you typed by hand.
