When do MCAT scores come out?
MCAT scores come out about 30 to 35 days after your test. On the AAMC calendar the gap is usually 31 to 33 days, and the release day is almost always a Tuesday. AAMC lists the exact release date next to every test date, and scores are in your account no later than 5:00 p.m. ET that day. Neighboring test dates often share one release day.
In more detail
The release date is fixed in advance. AAMC prints it beside each test date on its U.S. MCAT calendar, so you never have to guess. For example, the scores for the exams on September 11 and 12, 2026 both release on October 13, 2026. Counting forward from your test date gives you the same answer: add about a month and look for the next Tuesday on the calendar.
You read your scores in the AAMC score reporting system with your AAMC account. AAMC guarantees they are posted by 5:00 p.m. ET on release day, and they can show up earlier in the day. Sign in once before release day to make sure your login works, so a forgotten password does not cost you time.
If you plan a retake or an application deadline around your score, count 35 days to be safe. AAMC says medical schools generally accept scores that are two or three years old, so there is no need to rush a score you are happy with.

How StudyPDF helps
While you wait, keep your review going. Upload your MCAT review books, lecture notes or slides, and StudyPDF builds flashcards, quizzes and practice exams from them, timed if you want. Every answer feeds your per-concept mastery, so the next session goes after your weak topics, and the Plan tab spreads dated sessions up to your next test date. It does not replace the official AAMC practice exams.
