When do NCLEX results come out?
Official NCLEX results come from your state board of nursing, within 6 weeks of your exam and often sooner. If your board takes part in the Quick Results Service, you can see an unofficial result two business days after the exam for $7.95 through your Pearson account. Quick Results do not license you to practice. Only the board's official result does.
In more detail
Quick Results are the fast route. Two business days after your exam, sign in to your Pearson account, open My Account, choose Quick Results and purchase the result. You pay $7.95 by credit card, and your card is charged only if a result is available. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days, so an exam on a Friday usually means checking on Tuesday. NCSBN lists nearly every state as participating, but Delaware was missing from the list when we checked on October 21, 2026, so look at the current list for your board.
The official result is a different thing. Your nursing regulatory body sends it, within 6 weeks of the exam according to NCSBN. Many boards are faster, and some show your new license in an online lookup. Until the board confirms, you are not licensed, whatever Quick Results said. Do not start work as a nurse on an unofficial result.
While you wait, check that your application and fees with the board are complete. If six weeks pass with nothing, contact your board directly. If the result is a fail, your retake options follow your board's rules and NCSBN's waiting period.

How StudyPDF helps
StudyPDF cannot speed up your results, but you can use the wait to plan a retake if you need one. Put your NCLEX prep chapters, class notes and the questions you missed into a course, and it builds flashcards, quizzes and timed practice sets on your weak areas, then tracks per concept what still trips you up. Set your exam date in the Plan tab for dated sessions up to the day. The free plan covers about 4 materials a week, no card needed.
