Turn your PDF into a quiz

Why a PDF to quiz converter beats rereading

Rereading a chapter feels productive and leaves little behind. Answering questions on it forces you to pull the idea out of memory, and that is what makes it stick. The problem is that writing your own questions from a 40-page PDF takes longer than reading it twice. StudyPDF reads the PDF for you and drafts the questions. Every question cites the page it came from, so if an answer surprises you, the source is one click away. Figures and tables in the PDF are extracted too, so a question can say "using the chart below" and actually show your chart.

How to make a quiz from a PDF

Four steps from a file to a quiz with answers you can check.

01

Upload the PDF

Drop in the chapter, the lecture slides or a scanned handout. Pages are rendered and read by a vision model, so broken or scanned PDFs work too. You can add several files at once.

02

Choose the scope

Quiz the whole file, one topic, or only the concepts you keep missing. Pick the number of questions and the difficulty.

03

Get the quiz

StudyPDF drafts the questions from the PDF. Each one has an explanation and cites the page, so you can open the source in one click.

04

Take it, share it or print it

Answer it with instant feedback and see your results per concept. Teachers can review the draft in an editor and share it with a class by link or QR code. Export to PDF as a worksheet with the answer key on its own page.

For students: quiz yourself, then quiz your gaps

Take the first quiz on the whole PDF to see where you stand. The results show which concepts you missed, not just a score. Then ask for a second quiz built only from those concepts. Two or three rounds like that cover a chapter faster than any amount of highlighting. The same upload also gives you flashcards, a study guide and a timed practice exam, and Bo can explain any question you got wrong using only the PDF.

For teachers: a class quiz from your handout

Upload the handout or slides you taught, draft a quiz, and open it in the review editor. Change a question, ask for alternatives or add one; every AI suggestion is applied only when you confirm. Then share it with the class by link, QR code or email. Students take it for free on web and mobile and you see results per student and per concept. Teacher plans start at $14.99 a month and scale with how many classes you run and how many students are in each one. Teacher Light comes with 14 days free; you add a card to start it and can cancel any time. See the quiz maker for teachers and StudyPDF for teachers for the full flow.
