How it works
One clock for the whole check
75 minutes. The real exam gives 100 minutes for about 55 questions, so we scaled the time to 40. At zero, your answers are submitted.
Go back in the first section
Change answers and mark questions for review until you leave the section.
Two sections without a way back
The problem and solution set and the case study cannot be revisited once you leave them.
Partial points
Questions with several parts earn a point for each correct part, as on the real exam.
What you get
40 original questions across the five skill areas of the AZ-104 outline, written by us, never taken from the real exam.
The formats candidates report: one and several answers, Yes or No statements, build lists, dropdowns inside scripts and templates, long scenarios with tables, a problem and solution set and a case study.
An estimated score from 0 to 1000 with its range, a bar per skill area and the topics to study next.
For every answer option, why it is right or wrong, with a link to the Microsoft Learn page behind it.

Questions about the check
Is this the real exam?
No. Every question is original and written by us against Microsoft's public skills outline. We are not Microsoft, and we never use real exam questions or questions people remember from the exam, which the exam agreement forbids. The check trains the format and the skills, not the exact questions.
How is the score estimated?
Each correct part of a question earns a point. We take your share of points in each skill area and weight the areas by the middle of their range in the outline. That weighted share maps to a scale from 0 to 1000 with our 700 line at about 70 percent. Microsoft's scaled score works differently: 700 is a passing score that depends on question difficulty and does not mean 70 percent. So our number is an estimate with a range of plus or minus 75, and we are calibrating it against real scores people report.
How current is it?
The questions follow the AZ-104 skills outline of April 17, 2026, the current version on Microsoft Learn. Every question carries the date it was last checked against the outline and the Microsoft Learn docs. We check the study guide's change log and update the questions when the outline changes.
How is it different from Microsoft's practice assessment?
Microsoft's free practice assessment is a good start, but it does not include case studies or problem and solution sets, and it scores questions with several answers as all or nothing. This check uses those formats, gives partial points like the real exam, runs on one clock for the whole attempt and turns your result into an estimated score per skill area.
