Using YouTube Videos in StudyPDF

StudyPDF allows you to upload and analyze YouTube videos, making it easy to study from lectures, tutorials, and other educational content on YouTube.

Step 1: Access the Upload Feature

From your dashboard, find and click on one of the "Upload New File" buttons located in different areas of the interface.

Step 2: Select YouTube Video Option

In the upload terminal, select the "YouTube Video" option from the available upload types.

Step 3: Copy and Paste the YouTube Link

1. Find the YouTube video you want to study (for example, a lecture from MIT)

2. Copy the video's URL from your browser

3. Paste the link into the designated field in StudyPDF

4. Click "Continue" to proceed

Step 4: Select Generation Options

Choose your preferred AI processing options:

Step 5: Configure Video Settings

1. Verify or edit the automatically generated title for the video

2. Confirm the language selection (usually detected automatically)

3. Create a new course or select an existing one to organize your content

Step 6: Process the Video

Click "Process Video" to start the upload and analysis of the YouTube content.

Step 7: Wait for Processing

StudyPDF will handle the video processing in the background:

Step 8: Access Your Uploaded Video

Once processing is complete, your video will appear in your sidebar under the selected course, complete with a full explanation and transcript of the content.
